Highland Ridge Haiku

3/9/12
Pretty broken girls
I wish I could fix them all
*     *     *

Stirring up the shit
I feel like I'm McMurphy
Lobotomize me?

3/10/12
I'm feeling anxious
I won't go to my bedroom
I won't isolate

3/13/12
"Zachary"

A Freddy Prinze clone
"It's a conspiracy, man!"
Six A.M. dancing

*     *     *

"Nina"

She left then came back
Young enough to be my kid
She'll soon find her strength

*     *     *

"Tiffanie"

Pretty wife and mom
Like Kara Thrace with red hair
First to read my words

*     *     *

"Charice"

So quiet that first day
We all worried about her
She's so different now

*     *     *

"Shannon"

She giggled all day
We had some conversations
She's pretty normal

*     *     *

"Brit"

More than just a "tech"
Better than a counselor
She comforted me

3/14/12
Mt birthstone should be
Unobtainium. I want
What I cannot have

*     *     *

Every time I'm here
I get a crush on a girl
Hardly the best place

*     *     *

I'm still obsessing
I've been here over a week
Can't I turn it off?

*     *     *

This actually helped
I'm going back to bed now
Sweet dreams and sweet meds

*     *     *

"Nina"

Envelope in hand
Holding onto it for strength?
I hope it helps her
